Tatayoyo Wins Best Product Award in Romania
During the Modern Buyer RO-Fruit and Vegetables show on the 21th of November Tatayoyo once again secured an award, this time the notable Best Product Award. This achievement follows its earlier triumph at the Fruit Logistica Innovation Award in 2023 and its maximum three stars rating at the International Taste Quality Institute Award (ITQI) in both participating years 2021 and 2024, further cementing Tatayoyo's reputation for excellence.
Plum tomato Vivolia RZ: now also an organic favourite with a unique flavour
A “flavour bomb” – that’s how organic grower Koen Van Hauteghem describes the plum tomato Vivolia RZ. In Belgium, this Rijk Zwaan truss tomato is sold exclusively by the BelOrta auction house under the name Ruby Red. Koen won an award with the organic version, and retail customer Colruyt Group is so enthusiastic that production is being further scaled up.

Rijk Zwaan opens new trial station in Vietnam’s Lam Dong region
Rijk Zwaan continues to expand its presence in Vietnam, where it has been active for nearly 15 years, including with its own subsidiary since 2017. The company’s recently opened a newly built trial station, located in the key horticultural hub of Lam Dong. This station will accelerate the development of vegetable varieties for the specific needs of Southeast Asian growers and the region’s fresh produce market. The official opening took place during Rijk Zwaan’s Centenary Celebrations.
