Our Sweet Pepper (Capsicum) Seminar

On the 3rd of September, from 3 - 5:30 pm, Rijk Zwaan is organising an engaging pepper seminar in Hong Kong. The potential pepper market in Asia is enormous, however there is still a big transition to be made in developing high quality peppers in Asia and extending the category by introducing new SKU's.

The seminar will be divided into two interesting blocks, the first block will emphasize on improving your competitive position in pepper, while the second block will highlight category development in Asia. We’ll share our knowledge to help you bring your business forward and present our extensive pepper assortment tailored to the Asian market. In addition, several top-notch industry experts will take part in a panel discussion to share their experiences. Block 1: Improve your competitive position in pepper

The first block consists of three parts, introduction, panel discussion and level of sub information. We will show you what is happening in the world towards a more sustainable production and what this transition means for Asian retailers, traders and growers.

• Sustainable production in Asia

After the introductions, we'll organise an interesting panel discussion with our partners.

Block 2: Category development in Asia

In this second block, we will focus on how turnover can be increased for retailers, traders and growers by adding other sweet peppers to the category. What challenges are faced by introduction of a new SKU and the effect of marketing and brands on boosting a new SKU.
